Getting your manuscript from draft to published article.
Visit our For Authors page for complete submission guidelines. Our EditFlow submission portal is being set up and will be available soon. In the meantime, please submit your manuscript by email to journal@test.aiaseducation.org, including your paper as a single PDF, a cover letter, and the corresponding author’s contact details.
Not yet. We are integrating EditFlow, our submission and peer-review platform, and it will open soon. Until then, you can submit by emailing your manuscript to journal@test.aiaseducation.org. We will confirm receipt and guide you through review, and you will be notified when the online portal goes live.
No. College Mathematics is a fully open-access journal and currently charges no article processing charges (APCs). Publishing is free for authors, and every article is freely available to readers worldwide. This fee-free policy applies during the journal’s early years as we establish College Mathematics; should this change in the future, any update would be announced well in advance and would never affect papers already accepted.
Peer review typically takes 6–12 weeks from submission, covering initial screening, reviewer assignment, and review completion. You can track your submission status at any time through the EditFlow platform.
Manuscripts must be submitted in English. If you are a non-native English speaker, we recommend a professional language edit before submission to ensure clarity and readability.
Consult the Mathematics Subject Classification (MSC2020) reference. Choose the categories that best describe your research; these are used by Mathematical Reviews and zbMATH for indexing.
Accepted papers appear online as Early Access articles within 2–4 weeks of acceptance, then join the next formal issue. Formal issues are published quarterly (Spring, Summer, and Fall).
Changes to authorship, affiliations, and your manuscript.
Author changes are permitted only during peer review, before acceptance. Once a paper is accepted, the author list is fixed to preserve the integrity of the publication record. Contact the editor promptly by email to the editorial office if a change is needed.
Minor affiliation updates can be made during review. Major changes affecting the publication record may not be possible after acceptance—please contact the editorial office to discuss your situation.
When your paper is returned for revision, you will receive reviewer comments by email from the editorial office. Prepare a point-by-point response letter and submit a revised manuscript with tracked changes. The editor and reviewers evaluate your revisions before a final decision.
Minor typographical or formatting fixes are possible for Early Access papers. For articles in a formal issue, significant errors are handled through a published erratum. Contact the editorial office with the details.
While our EditFlow portal is being set up, we will keep you updated by email at each stage—from initial screening through acceptance and publication. Once the portal is live, you will also be able to log in to track your submission in real time.
Your rights as an author under open access.
All articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) license. Readers may freely use, adapt, and distribute your work as long as proper attribution is given.
The licensing form is provided automatically upon acceptance and is sent to you by the editorial office. Sign and return it before publication to confirm your agreement to publish under CC BY 4.0.
Yes. Because articles are published under CC BY 4.0, you may include your work in your dissertation or thesis—simply provide the attribution required by your institution and the license.
Yes. The CC BY 4.0 license permits sharing on ResearchGate, arXiv, institutional repositories, and social media. You may deposit your article on arXiv before submission or after publication; noting the journal publication details is appreciated.
Discoverability, citations, and promoting your work.
Not yet—College Mathematics is a newly established journal, and indexing is in progress. Our eISSN application is currently pending, and we are preparing to register with Crossref so that published articles receive DOIs. As the journal builds a publication record, we will seek evaluation for indexing services relevant to mathematics, such as MathSciNet (Mathematical Reviews) and zbMATH. Inclusion is determined by each database according to its own eligibility criteria and timelines.
Share it on social media with relevant hashtags, add it to ResearchGate and your professional profiles, cite it in future work, feature it in conference talks, and share it with your network. We also highlight selected articles on our own channels.
Cite the authors, title, journal name (College Mathematics), volume, issue, pages, and year. Once our Crossref registration is complete, each article will also carry a unique DOI, which should be included in the citation. Example: Author(s), “Paper Title,” College Mathematics, Vol. 1, Issue 1, pp. 1–4, 2026.
File formats, length, and manuscript requirements.
We accept LaTeX (.tex), Microsoft Word (.doc, .docx), and PDF. LaTeX is preferred for mathematical content. Submit supporting files separately in standard formats (PNG, JPG, or PDF for figures; Excel or CSV for data).
There is no strict page limit, though concise presentation is encouraged. Most original research articles run 15–30 pages; expository or survey articles may be longer. For manuscripts over 50 pages, please consult the editorial office.
Briefly state your paper’s main contributions and its fit for College Mathematics. Mention any prior conference presentations or concurrent review elsewhere, and feel free to suggest potential reviewers (the editor is not obligated to use them).
No. Submitting to College Mathematics means the work has not been published elsewhere and is not under review at another journal. Simultaneous submission violates publication ethics.
